Judiciary role in the country today
A few years ago, the role of the judiciary became a topic of discussion, when many of the country's top leaders and bureaucrats faced litigation in various courts across the country on large charges. Every country in the world is safe on three important pillars that sustain it - the political leadership, the executive machinery and the judiciary. Not only are these three systems complementary to the other two, they are also a type of watchdog to ensure that the other two systems are not misled. The justice system, however, enjoys high positions because it is always independent. Control of other systems. The judiciary has been given wide powers in accordance with the secure constitution of this country. Attempts have been made by the founding fathers of the Constitution to give full autonomy to the judiciary, that the process of getting justice is one and the same and all are independent and impartial.
The judicial control system has been operating satisfactorily since India became independent in 1947. Everyone is free to approach the court whenever he or she feels deprived of his or her rights as a citizen of India. Arrangements have been made to provide legal aid to people who are too poor to pay lawyers and pay fees. In this way justice has been made accessible to all.
Sometimes it is seen that some undesirable elements misuse the legal process to try to either spoil the justice or delay the process in such a way that delay in justice is tantamount to denial of justice. The country's judiciary is certainly responsible for the treatment of such cases but often the victims are unaware of these treatments.
The role of the judiciary was taken into account when several cases and scandals involving VIPs and VVIPs were published by the CBI or through some public petitions. Surprising or political positions cost thousands of crores of rupees to deceive some people. Among the major houses exposed in the scam were allegations of hawala scam, fodder scam, sugar scam, telecom scam, JMM pay scam, Housing scam, banking and corruption and irregularities against top leaders. Of the country. Although some of these leaders managed to prove their innocence, the majority continued to fight legal battles with their backs to the wall. Some of those arrested have been remanded in custody. Although some of them managed to get released on bail, others could not. Some leaders had to resign from their positions to prove their innocence. Others were subjected to severe public pressure. The whole country shook with bones.
The whole process proved that none of the country's top leaders can be held beyond doubt. In such a situation, a large, powerful lobby is likely to work towards suppressing the natural justice process or bring a bad name to the judiciary or judicial process. It is feared that some vested interests may succeed in heating up the judiciary with some ingenious tactics. Some people have already used terms like 'judicial activism' and 'judicial linguistics' to give the false impression that the judiciary would be suicidal for the country.
Despite many obstacles, the judiciary continues to play its role to the best of its ability. Many corrupt leaders, politicians and officials continue to be brought before the court on various charges.
The judiciary is the only hope of the country. There is no doubt that the politicians and the bureaucrats have failed in their duty to give this country a responsive, clean, honest government. It is the only judiciary that can assert itself and say no anger without fear or favor. The law of the land must be allowed to prevail. This is possible only if the judiciary is strengthened. Immediate and efficient administration of justice for all must be ensured. India lives only if its justice system lives on; India dies if its judiciary is obstructed. No power, no matter how large, should be allowed to disturb the justice process. Free and fair justice is the soul of this country.
